I am Tali a mother of 2 girls – Zoe and Ori, and partner to Oren. At the moment we are living in Santa Monica, California.
I was born and raised in Israel, where Jewish culture is part of who you are and one doesn’t need to make that choice, in Israel Jewish tradition and culture is embedded in everyday life, in the school system and the government.  One doesn’t need to make an effort to be Jewish.
Raising my kids in the US, I find it rather challenging to maintain the same kind of Jewish identity in a secular manner. It seem like the parent must be very active in keeping up with the Jewish culture and tradition.
I started this blog to encourage families to find the joy in the Jewish culture and to make up their own rituals and traditions that will become part of their family memories- part of who they are.
